Dr. Machado is a cum laude graduate of the University of Medical Sciences of Camagüey, Cuba, class of 2012. He completed his Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at Nova Southeastern University, Florida, in 2021. Before entering residency, he worked as both a dental assistant and dental hygienist, gaining valuable perspective on patient care from every angle.
His extensive clinical experience, spanning over a decade, has equipped him with exceptional skills in patient relations and comprehensive dental practices. Upon completing his residency at Nova, Dr. Machado has helped numerous patients with dental implant rehabilitation, having performed over 1,000 successful dental implant surgeries. His areas of expertise include preventive care, diagnosis and treatment planning, restorative dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery, with a special passion for implantology.
He holds certifications in Invisalign, Nitrous Oxide-Oxygen sedation, and the Implant Maxi Course at Nova Southeastern University — a rigorous 10-month program in advanced implant dentistry.
As a proud member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Florida Dental Association (FDA) and American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID), Dr. Machado is committed to ongoing professional development, regularly participating in continuing education courses to keep abreast of the latest advancements in dentistry.
